Job Summary:

Conduct the most innovative research on skeletal muscle / adipose tissues.
The goal of the position is to learn methods and develop processes for the engineering of matured bovine tissues for human consumption using bovine stem cells.
The researcher will have a key role at the company and will work cross-functionally in research and development, with bioprocess engineers and other functional areas, as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • MSC in Life Sciences or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with different cultures, their maintenance, and aseptic techniques-must.
  • Experience with tissue culture- must.
  • Expertise in stem cells differentiation and/or skeletal muscle / adipose tissue engineering-Preference.
  • An open mind and a motivation to learn and explore.
  • Ability to perform standard laboratory math calculations for determining cell doubling time, cell concentration, seeding density, and concentration.
  • Strong scientific and technical writing and presentations.
