We define “PII” to mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

You are not legally required toprovide us with PII, however, some of the services require you to do so pursuant to this privacy policy. In these cases, if you choose to withhold or delete any PII requested by us, it may not be possible for you to access certain services. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions set forth herein, please do not use the services.

We recognize that privacy is important. This Privacy Policy applies to all of the software, services, information, blog, app, email, social media, features, product, and content on the Website and mobile site made available, displayed, or offered by Company (“Services“) and covers how PII that the Company collects and receives, including in respect of any use of the Services, is treated. 1. PII We Collect and How We Use It. In order to provide, operate, maintain, secure and improve our Services, to understand usage trends and user preferences, to adjust and personalize your use of the Services, for marketing and customer relations purposes,     to offer and operate webinars, events and demos related to our Services, for recruitment and placement purposes, to participate in our public forums, to establish and maintain business relationships, to protect our Services from threatening, fraudulent or unlawful activities, for compliance with applicable laws and regulations, or for enforcement of the relevant agreement or other legal rights, we may collect and process PII, including the following types of information:

• PII You Provide. For some of the features of the Services we ask you to provide PII, such as full name, e-mail address, telephone number, job title, place of employment, company name, and any other information you choose to provide when contacting us,      requesting information, registering for a webinar or demo, subscribing to updates, applying for a position, or otherwise interacting with us through the Website or Services.
 
• Third Parties. We sometimes supplement or verify the PII that you provide with information that is received from third parties, including our affiliates, service providers, business partners, publicly available sources, and commercially available sources,      where permitted under applicable law. If you interact with any social media or other third-party plug-in or platform in the Services (such as a “share” on Facebook or contact us through social media), we may receive information from those respective platforms and may maintain records of those interactions.
 
• User Communications. When you send an email or other communication to the Company, complete a contact form, register      for a webinar or demo, meet us at an event, or otherwise communicate with us, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, provide support, send service-related communications, and improve our Services. We may send you newsletters, updates and promotional communications, and where relevant, web push notifications, regarding the Services. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom      of each email or by sending us a request to privacy@steakholderfoods.com. Please note that even if you opt-out of receiving the foregoing communications, we may still send you a response to any “Contact Us” request as well as administrative e-mails necessary to facilitate your use of the Services and address your inquiries.
 
• User PII. When you use the Services, we may automatically receive and record information from your browser or device,      including without limitation information and statistics about your online or offline status, your IP address, device identifiers, internet service provider, browser type, operating system, cookie information, regional and language settings, approximate geolocation, and software and hardware attributes. Our systems may automatically record and store technical information regarding the method and nature of your use of the Services, including without limitation which pages of the Services you viewed, exit and entrance pages, links clicked, access times, and your use of the Services. An IP address is a numeric code that identifies your device on a network, or in this case, the Internet. Your IP address may also be used to gather broad demographic information. The Company uses the PII that it collects to understand usage trends, interests, behavior and preferences of its users, personalize the Services, maintain security, and improvethe Services.
 
• Aggregate and Analytical Data. In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve users and customers of the Services, we often conduct research on customer demographics, interests and behavior based on the PII and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate or de-identified basis, and we may share such aggregate or de-identified data with our affiliates, agents and business partners to the extent permitted by applicable law. This information does not identify you personally. Whererequired by applicable law, we process PII on one or more of the followinglegal bases: (i) with your consent; (ii) as necessary to perform a contractwith you or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract;(iii) as necessary to comply with a legal obligation; and/or (iv) as necessaryfor our legitimate interests, including operating, maintaining, securing andimproving the Website and Services, developing business relationships,preventing fraud, and communicating with users and business contacts.

2. Cookies. In order to collect or use the data described herein, we may use cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs and similar tracking technologies, including temporary cookies that remain on your device for a limited period of time and persistent cookies that remain on your device until removed via your browser’s settings. We use these technologies to operate, manage and maintain the Services, record and analyze your use of the Services, understand usage trends and preferences, personalize content, and support security and marketing activities. Cookies by themselves cannot usually be used to discover the identity of the user. A cookie is a small piece of information which is sent to and stored on your device. 3. Links. Links to third party services, sites, content, features and applications may be provided by the Company as a     convenience to our users. The Company is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those third-party services, sites, content, features and applications and you visit them at your own risk. This Privacy Policy applies solely to PII collected or used by us.
4. Children. The Services are not intended for children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect PII directly from children under the age of 18 without parental consent where such consent is required by applicable law. If you are under the age of 18, please do not provide us with your PII without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided us with PII in violation of applicable law, please contact us at privacy@steakholderfoods.com and we will endeavor to delete that PII from our databases.
5. Information Sharing. As part of providing the Services, our affiliates, agents, representatives and service providers may have access to your PII on a need-to-know basis. The Company may also share your PII in the following circumstances: (a) with our     affiliates; (b) with vendors and service providers that support our business and operations, including hosting providers, website management and content platforms, CRM, e-mail, analytics, security, customer support, webinar, communications, call recording, and similar providers, and artificial intelligence-enabled tools and features that assist us in operating or improving the Services; (c) with our professional advisors, including lawyers, accountants, auditors and consultants; (d) as required for the provision, maintenance, security and improvement of the Services; (e) when permitted by you or based on your instruction; (f) to satisfy     applicable law, regulation, legal process, governmental request, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; (g) to detect, prevent or address fraud, security or technical issues, or prevent harm; and/or (h) ifwe become involved in a reorganization, merger, consolidation, acquisition, investment transaction, bankruptcy, or any form of sale or transfer of some or all of our assets or business, whether in connection with an actual or contemplated transaction.
6. PII Security and Retention. We follow     generally accepted industry standards and implement reasonable technical,     organizational and administrative measures designed to protect against     unauthorized access to, or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or     destruction of, PII. However, no method of transmission over the Internet,     or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we     strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your PII, we cannot     guarantee its absolute security. We retain your PII only for as long as     reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to     comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting or reporting requirements,     to maintain appropriate business and financial records, to resolve     disputes, to enforce our agreements, and to establish, exercise or defend     legal claims.
7. Data Integrity. The Company processes PII     only for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed     and in accordance with this Privacy Policy or any applicable service     agreements. We review our data collection, usage, storage and processing     practices to help ensure that we only collect, use, store and process the     PII needed to provide, secure or improve our Services and/or as set forth     in this Privacy Policy. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the PII we     process is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on our users to     update or correct their PII whenever necessary. Nothing in this Privacy     Policy shall be interpreted as an obligation to store information for any     particular period, and we may, subject to applicable law, delete information     from time to time.

   • Right of Access and Rectification. Subject      to applicable law, you may have the right to know what PII we collect      about you, to access such data, and to request that inaccurate,      incomplete or outdated PII be corrected. We may ask you to provide      certain credentials or additional information to verify your identity      before responding to your request.
    
   • Right to Delete, Object or Restrict Processing.      Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request deletion of      your PII, to object to certain processing activities, including      processing based on legitimate interests, and/or to request restriction      of processing in certain circumstances. We may postpone, limit or deny      your request where permitted by law, including where the relevant PII is      required for the purposes for which it was collected, for compliance with      legal obligations, or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal      claims.
    
   • Right to Withdraw Consent. You have      the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your PII.      Exercising this right will not affect the lawfulness of processing your      PII based on your consent before its withdrawal.
    
   • Right of Data Portability. Where      technically feasible and required by applicable law, you have the right      to ask to receive certain PII you provided to us in a structured,      commonly used and machine-readable format and/or to request that we      transfer such PII to another controller where applicable.
    
   • Automated      Decision-Making. We do not use PII for decisions based solely on      automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects      on individuals, except as permitted by applicable law.

We may request additional information to verify youridentity or authority before processing your request, and we may charge a feewhere permitted by law, for example if a request is manifestly unfounded orexcessive.

 
• o Marketing      Opt-Out. You may choose not to receive marketing emails from us by      clicking the unsubscribe link included in such communications or by      contacting us at privacy@steakholderfoods.com.      Please note that your opt-out request will not affect service-related,      transactional, legal, or other non-marketing communications that we may      need to send you.
 
• Right to Lodge a Complaint. You also have      the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory      authority regarding the processing of your PII.

8. Enforcement. The Company regularly reviews     its compliance with this Privacy Policy. Please feel free to direct any     questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy or our treatment of     PII by contacting us at privacy@perfectafoods.com.     When we receive formal written complaints, it is the Company’s policy to     contact the complaining user regarding his or her concerns. We will     cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including data protection     authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of PII that     cannot be resolved between the Company and an individual.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy. The     Company may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you about     significant changes in the way we treat PII by placing a prominent notice     on the Services or sending a notice to the email address provided by you.     We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy for the latest     information about our privacy practices.
10. Consent to Processing. By providing any PII     to us pursuant to this Privacy Policy, all users, including, without     limitation, users in the United States, Israel and member states of the     European Union, fully understand and unambiguously consent to this Privacy     Policy and to the collection, usage and/or processing of such PII abroad.     The server on which the Services are hosted and/or through which the     Services are processed may be outside the country from which you access     the Services and may be outside your country of residence. Some of the     uses and disclosures mentioned in this Privacy Policy may involve the     transfer of your PII to various countries around the world that may have     different levels of privacy protection than your country and may be     transferred outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). If there is a     transfer of your PII outside the EEA we will, in the absence of an EC     Adequacy decision relevant to the destination country or to the transfer,     seek to rely on appropriate safeguards such as to enter into appropriate EC     approved standard contractual clauses (see https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/international-dimension-data-protection_en).     By submitting your PII through the Services, you consent, acknowledge, and     agree that we may collect, use, transfer, and disclose your PII as     described in this Privacy Policy.
